SMS Opt-In Process
Address CRM Messaging Program · Effective August 8, 2026
Nobody in this program is texted without having agreed to it. There are two routes in, and they work differently.
Account Notifications
An Address user switches these on for their own mobile number inside the app, under their profile settings. They are reminders about that person's own schedule — a follow-up starting shortly, a summary of the day. They are off by default, the person enabling them is the person receiving them, and they can be switched off in the same place at any time.
Follow-Up Messages
These go to somebody who has asked an Address user for information. Consent is collected individually, by phone, using the script below.
1. A person contacts an Address user asking about a product or service,
and gives their phone number for follow-up.
2. The Address user calls them.
3. During that call, the script below is read out.
4. Only if the person clearly agrees is consent recorded, with the date and
time, and messaging begins.
5. Anyone who declines is never texted. Consent is not a condition of any
purchase.
